Dublin North TD and Minister for Food and Horticulture today welcomed funding made available to eighteen projects in Fingal by the Local Agenda 21 Environment Partnership Fund 2007 under the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government.
Minister Sargent said, “These funds will provide much-needed assistance to important projects that will help raise awareness of the environment. It is encouraging to see money collected from plastic bag and landfill levies going back into the community in such a focused way. I commend the projects involved for their contribution towards helping the environment and look forward to seeing the results that these grants will bring.”
