SARGENT IS HOPEFUL OF PROGRESS IN RETAINING JOBS AT DUBLIN AIRPORT
Minister Trevor Sargent, TD for Dublin North, has been briefed by the Tánaiste following her meeting yesterday (19th February) with SR Technics’ union representatives.
Minister Sargent stated, “It is encouraging to learn that there have been a number of expressions of interest in taking over all or parts of the business as a going concern. I know that the IDA has brought in expertise to make a full evaluation of these expressions of interest. This process has now commenced. I can assure the employees of SR Technics that it is the aim of government to retain the maximum number of jobs in the complex.”
