Sargent Learns of Further Progress in Retaining Jobs at Dublin Airport
Trevor Sargent was briefed by the Tánaiste on her telephone conversation with SR Technics CEO Mr Bernd Kessler this afternoon. Minister Sargent stated “I am further encouraged that Mr Kessler has informed the Tánaiste that a number of approaches have been made to SR Technics by interested parties regarding the Dublin operation. In addition I know that the IDA is continuing to work with the external expertise, it recently commissioned, to evaluate a range of future possible options. My priority, which I have stated directly to the employees of SR Techincs, is that it is the aim of government to retain the maximum number of jobs in the complex”.
