Minister for Food & Horticulture Trevor Sargent TD, today welcomed news that St Colmcille’s Girls National School (Chapel Lane Swords) is to receive funding for heating works.
The Minister for Education & Science, Batt O’Keeffe TD, informed Minister Sargent that grant aid has just been approved for this project under the Emergency Works Programme. He confirmed that the Department’s Building Unit would shortly be in contact with the school authorities so that work can commence.
Minister Sargent said, “I’m delighted that St Colmcille’s has been successful with its grant application and hope that this much needed project can be completed as quickly as possible.”
